We are CaPow

“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.”

Henry Ford

Our solution looks beyond what exists today, to re-imagine the possibilities of power transfer. We recognized that perpetual power requires moving beyond ‘better batteries.’ CaPow is fueling the future of automated robotic fleets.  
  
We are the first company to offer a solution that brings perpetual power to automated robotic fleets. Our vision is a world where battery-free robots are never forced to stop for charging.

Our Story

The inspiration that became CaPow’s revolutionary autonomous power delivery ecosystem began 15 years ago with Prof. Mor M. Peretz and his Power Electronics research at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Together with CaPow co-founders Dr. Eli Abramov and Dr. Alon Cervera, Prof. Peretz started to explore the potential of unique wireless energy transfer solutions.  
  
The innovation that began in academia has evolved and been brought to commercial realization through CaPow, now the subject of numerous patents.  
CaPow’s potential has been recognized by leading industry 4.0 investors, IL Ventures, among other individual investors.  
Former Amazon Robotics leaders and today industry influencers Vikas Enti and Nils Alstad are also strong believers in the CaPow solution and are serving as strategic advisors to the company.

Prof. Mor M. Peretz

Co-Founder & CEO

Mor Peretz is an internationally recognized authority on power electronics and hardware miniaturization. He is a Professor of Electronics and Energy management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications. He is the founder of the largest and most prominent research group of power electronics in Israel with $10M+ in funding. His 20+ registered patents have been licensed by global companies.

Alon Cervera, PhD

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist

Alon Cervera brings more than 10 years of hardware and product development to his role at CaPow. He holds a PhD in ECE from Ben-Gurion University and has 30+ publications to his name. Cervera is the innovator and creator of several patented and licensed products. Prior to CaPow, he was next generation optimization group leader at SolarEdge.

Eli Abramov, PhD

Co-Founder & VP R&D

Eli Abramov holds a PhD in Electronics and Electronic Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He specialized in hardware development, in particular, ASIC for power management. Working with international electronic leaders, Abramov has led the development of technological solutions from R&D stage to the final product. He has more than 30 published peer-reviewed articles and holds numerous patents.

Amir Fishelov

Chairman

Amir Fishelov brings over 20 years of experience in management and business development to CaPow. Fishelov is a Co-Founder of the leading smart energy transfer provider, SolarEdge (S&P 500 listed), where he was responsible for strategic planning, and customer partnerships while managing a team of 300+ engineers.

Noam Geffen

Chief Business Officer

Noam Geffen brings vast experience in Sales and Business Development, and spearheading Account Management groups. Formerly a Senior Strategic Account Director for the Israeli government’s Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, and Director of Presale in Jungo (now a Cisco company), Geffen has more than 10 years of experience overseeing large scale technological projects. He holds a B.Sc in Electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from the University of Haifa.

We are looking for a highly skilled Integration & Validation Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in developing our ultra-deep-tech innovative products and solutions for wireless energy transfer systems for autonomous robotics. The team deals with multidisciplinary R&D tasks for developing in-house solutions and platforms. Come work with us in a dynamic working environment with high responsibility, joining us, you’ll have the chance to develop unique products from scratch to mass production. **Key Responsibilities:**- Plan, execute and analyze end-to-end systems/products including hardware & embedded integration tests.
- Designing and building test setups from the first-level design, testing and studying E2E system operation at nominal and corner scenarios.
- Be a major part of product HW design, including characterization, implementation, and testing.
- Knowledge of all CaPow’s systems, use-cases, installations, and interfaces.

### Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer

- PCB mechanical design including close collaboration with electrical engineers.
- Design parts using plastic injection, die cast, extrusion and sheet metal.
- Design cooling surfaces for PCB.
- Preparation of production files including mechanical drawing, PCB mechanical drawings.
- Specification review and approval of manufacturing tools and molds.
- Leading the process of obtaining IP (Ingress Protection) ratings certification.

**Requirements:**- BSc/MSc in Mechanical engineering, 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.

### Sr. Embedded Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in developing our ultra-deep-tech innovative products and solutions for wireless energy transfer systems for autonomous robotics. The team deals with multidisciplinary R&D tasks for developing in-house solutions and platforms. - Developing features in various areas and disciplines – power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platforms.
- Developing on various micro-controllers and dealing with various RT constraints.
- Ownership of a project\product from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment.
- Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW.
- Collaborate with HW and ASIC teams.

### Requirements:

- B.Sc. in Electrical engineering / Computer science.
- 5+ years programming experience in C/C++.
- 5+ years of working with real time embedded systems.

### Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in developing our ultra-deep-tech innovative products and solutions for wireless energy transfer systems for autonomous robotics. The team deals with multidisciplinary R&D tasks for developing in-house solutions and platforms. - Board design – power, analog and digital.
- Plan, execute and analyze HW validations.
- Design and BoM optimizations.
- Leading the development of the company’s core products.
- Responsibility for the development from the design stage to the final product, including all tests necessary to deliver the product to mass production (electronic tests, thermal tests, EMI tests).
- Close work with System/Mechanical/Embedded/ASIC and production teams.

### Logic Design Engineer

CaPow is growing! We are looking for an ASIC/FPGA Logic Design Engineer to join our design team and take an integral role in developing our cutting-edge ASIC controller for wireless energy transfer systems. Our in-house developed controller includes complex processing units packed as an integrated high-performance power manager which resemble the heart of the company’s innovation. Joining CaPow’s Logic design team will give you the unique opportunity to engage in the entire chip definition and development flow, starting from system and architecture stage and up to production. As a Front-end Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the most critical phase of defining, maintaining and implementing the logical core of CaPow’s top-notch SoC technology along its way into silicon. We are looking for a Logic Design Engineer with significant understanding of ASIC/FPGA engineering concepts, knowledge in RTL design methodologies and excellent analytical and technical skills to join our team and take part in our revolutionary product. ### Key Responsibilities:

- Define and develop complex digital IPs – starting from the architectural conceptual stage and up to RTL realization.
- Performing detailed design, coding and verification for ASIC/FPGA
- Modify existing FPGA designs and manage a clean transition into the ASIC environment.
- Document Chip/Block level design parameters, such as interface protocols, internal flow diagrams and IO’s.
- Take ownership of the full RTL integration: top-level specifications, DFT specifications, gate level synthesis, STA work and timing/power closure.
- Perform functional/gate-level simulations and debug your work as needed.
- Support in the verification process including DFT tests.
- Collaborate with SW and HW teams.

### Requirements:

- B.Sc. in Electrical/Computer engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in RTL design
- Knowledge in principles regarding the FPGA field (Altera/Xilinx/Microchip)
